Iwatsu (M) Sdn Bhd is subsidiary of a multinational Iwatsu Electric Company Ltd (Japan). We are a leading manufacturer of key telephone systems and Oscilloscope looking for dynamic and dedicated Malaysians to fill the following vacancy :-


PURCHASING MANAGER

Responsibilities :-
· Lead a team of Planner & Buyer towards achieving company’s goals and objectives
· Responsible for the full spectrum of purchasing duties and order management which includes quotations, order processing, order status and delivery of products to customers
· Review Purchasing & Planning policies and procedures
· Source, select and negotiate for the ideal purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
· Participate in the development of specification for products or substitute material
· Follow up on any planning related issues
· Troubleshoot and provide solution for problem relating to production interruption related issues.

Requirements :-
Posses a Degree Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 8 years of related experience with at least 3-5 years in management position preferably in manufacturing environment
Strong interpersonal skills specific to achieving favorable prices and services
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong organization , planning and tactical execution abilities
MS Excel and ERP experience is very heipful
