TECHNICAL BUYER
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production & engineering.
- Establish systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall quality.
- Participate in Global pricing/contract negotiations and serve as the advocate for selective suppliers
- Manage supplier contracts (performance agreements, NDA, SMI contracts, terms & conditions)
- Ensure Supplier optimization (selection/reduction/standardization)
- Support operational teams on chronic supplier problems
- Conduct Industry market research/benchmarking
- Prepare Business interruption plans for ON and also each key supplier
- Aid sites/platform teams with value engineering programs
- Manage and develop strong supplier relationships in Supplier goal setting, Business reviews/general meetings, and Supplier performance rating process.
- Conduct supplier facility survey of potential critical components providers.
- Facilitate development of team/partner relationship with vendors/suppliers and maintain relationships for long term contracts for delivery of high quality parts.
- Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicate/resolve supplier-related problems.
Requirements:
Possess a Degree in Science/Applied Science, Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years experience in Semiconductor Assembly and Test operation.
Must have wafer fabrication experience
WAREHOUSE/ LOGISTIC - SECTION HEAD
Lead warehouse personnel in performing inventory control, shelf life monitoring and material scheduling/disbursement, maintain stock information, monitor daily material movement and actual production schedules versus inventory levels
Responsible for timely distributing of raw materials to manufacturing to ensure manufacturing cycle is not delayed
Implement policies and procedures to safeguard and preserve raw materials kept at the warehouse
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Seremban.
